Today's article explains why each individual amongst us should have their own personal nutrition program, and the taking down of those negativity barriers, you'll certainly need to overcome before following a good program. What with Thanks Giving well under way, then comes Christmas and those New Year get togethers. Are you going to succumb to all those nutritionally challenged goodies, and put even more weight on those hips and belly? Good nutrition planning now may help ease those tears later. Look forward to the New Year by looking forward to a leaner and slimmer you. Believe me it can be done provided you have the willpower to set and achieve your personal goals. So without further ado, drum roll please, DDddddddr.... here is today's featured article from TruthAboutAbs4Women.com who have a gift for you at the end so do read on......
How To Prepare A Proper Nutrition Program For Yourself
Brought to you by TruthAboutAbs4Women.com
We all know training is a big part of getting into shape and gaining better health, but even more important is nutrition. This is usually the missing link that keeps individuals from reaching their goal. It takes both training and nutrition to effectively reach your goals, but by fine-tuning your nutrition program, you will reach your goals more quickly.
Don't leave your nutrition to chance or else you may very well be wasting all that hard work you put in at the gym.
How important is having a meal plan to follow in regards to nutrition compliance?
It's just as important as having driving directions if you don't know where you're going. Having a nutrition plan is the map to get you where you want to go. Or, for the more technologically sounds folks, the meal plan is the GPS system for improving compliance. I don't know how to get to Fargo North Dakota—but if I had to drive there, I would pull out a map and write my directions. The same is true for nutrition—most folks know what they need to do to lose fat or gain muscle, but they don't have the specific directions to get there.
What do you think are the biggest barriers to following a good nutrition program?
First is not planning. Like I described above, you need to plan the best way to reach your destination—in this case, the destination may be fat loss or gaining lean body mass. Meal Plans 101 does the planning for you. If you fail to plan, plan to fail. Why struggle any longer; use the properly designed tools to help you reach your goals.
Second, is watching your portions. Oatmeal is fantastic for you, but sitting down every day to 2-3 cups of oatmeal per meal might be a bit much. Wouldn't it be nice, though, to know just how much a portion size should actually be? We did that research for you, and it's all in the software.
Do you have to be a nutrition expert to know how to eat healthy? How hard is it to create an effective meal plan that will allow someone to lose fat or gain muscle?
Nutrition experts are of course beneficial—I'd be knocking myself down if I didn't think they were. But we can't be there with every single person who wants a simple meal plan put together for them and, quite frankly, it isn't cheap to work with us individually. This software isn't meant to replace the advice of a qualified nutrition professional, what it's meant to do is provide you with science based tools, such as specific formulas (they are behind the scenes, so you don't have to get involved with them) to tell you how many calories to eat for your goals, along with providing you the ability to choose your food preferences, so you don't have a cookie cutter program, but instead a unique, proprietary meal plan that fits YOU!
You have mentioned your software. What is it exactly and how can it make the lives of my readers easier?
Simply put—it allows folks to plug in specific values they get from clients or from themselves and it will spit out your specific nutritional needs to achieve those goals. It will then give you the breakdown of just how much of each food group you should be eating, but you are able to customize it to your food choices!! It's takes just a few minutes to get the grasp of this and then it's just another tool to help you reach your health and physical goals,
One last question. How important is it to adjust your carbohydrates when it comes to weight loss? Read this article first then you decide
Good Carbs vs Bad Carbs
This is the million dollar question. Some research supports a modified carbohydrate diet for successful weight loss, while others suggest a lower fat nutrition plan. The key is nutrient quality and the answer is probably somewhere in the middle. The right types of carbohydrates are excellent. Similarly, healthy fats are crucial, so drastically restricting one or another is not the best way to go about it, in my opinion. And that's why you have the ability to choose both in the food options under each category.

A Key Secret To Life Long Leanness
One of the things that I do on a regular basis to help me continually learn about fitness success and failure, is observing people's habits and actions. I feel that these observations are equally as important as reading books, journals, articles, etc. for improving my knowledge of what works and what doesn't in fitness.
Something that happens to me on a regular basis when I meet people is that once they find out that I'm a website owner for women, they start asking me questions about the things that they eat or how they exercise, and what my opinion is on it. I don't mind this, because it gives me some insight on exactly what people do, what they believe, and how things have worked for them.
I will qualify that I only give my advice if it is asked for. I never preach about health & fitness to anyone who didn't ask for my advice. After all, I know I don't want people preaching to me about their expertise if I didn't ask for the advice.
I make observations about the habits and actions of both the fit people and the fat people on a daily basis to help determine successful vs. unsuccessful actions. It could be at grocery stores, at the gym, at restaurants, at the office, at someone's house... all are potential spots to learn why people are either fit or fat.
Start paying attention to the actions of the people around you on a daily basis, and their corresponding body shape, and you'll learn a lot. Here are some examples of things you may notice:
You might notice that the overweight woman at the office who claims she can never lose any weight is actually the first one in the kitchen whenever someone brings in free donuts or cookies. You might also notice that the guy with the beer gut, who says it's impossible for him to get rid of the gut, is skipping breakfast on a regular basis (a killer for your metabolism), and drinking 2 or 3 sodas a day without even realizing it.
No wonder he's got a beer gut! On the other hand, you might also notice that the girl with the slim figure, who seemingly eats all kinds of junk food (and everyone gripes that she should be fat with all of that crap she eats), never actually finishes more than half of what she's eating.
When you take a closer look, she's actually not eating that many calories day in and day out, and that's why she's lean. It's not always as it appears on the surface.
The point is that there's always an underlying reason why someone is either fat or fit, and it revolves around their lifestyle, their actions, their habits. Look a little deeper and you'll learn a lot about why people fail and why people succeed with weight management and other fitness goals.
Sometimes its so very difficult for any woman to stay slim, sampling our own cooking and baking for instance, on the premise that we are only checking that they have all turned out OK, is actually a poor excuse for sampling those fresh backed cookies. However why not look for lower fat or healthier styled cookies to make, then if you are tempted, then you indeed know they are actually doing you some good, and not just adding to the pounds already collected around your belly.
Many herbs and spices added to your food are also great ways to decrease the blandness of some foods when cooked. Many herbs have medicinal qualities for reducing cholesterol, and increasing your metabolism, all in a natural way.

The Swine Flu Vaccine, Will You Be Denied It?
By now you probably know that the swine flu vaccine manufacturers failed to find a way to produce sufficient quantities of the virus to meet vaccine demand. Instead of the 120 million doses that were to be delivered by mid October 2009 to begin inoculations in the U.S., only 45 million doses are expected to be made available.
So what does this mean for you? In a hurry then check it out here:
Simply that unless you are a health professional who will be dealing with swine flu cases, or a member of the military, a pregnant woman, a child, or someone with an unlying health condition such as diabetes, or coronary disease, you will probably be denied the swine flu shot until sometime early 2010.Unfortunately, the next swine flu wave is likely to arrive before you can be protected against it.
You should take some comfort in the fact that although you will initially be denied the swine flu shot, your children will likely have no problem obtaining the vaccine when it arrives in your neighbourhood.
Two shots will likely be required. An initial shot to prime the immune system will be followed three weeks later by a second shot that stimulates the antibodies needed to protect against swine flu. If all goes smoothly, by week five the protective antibodies will be in place.
This assumes, of course, that the vaccine works effectively, which is unknown at the present time. The 2008 seasonal vaccine failed to protect 56 percent of people who received the shot, so while getting the vaccine is a good idea, it is not guaranteed to offer you protection.
For more information about the other means by which you can prepare yourself against this novel virus H1N1 be sure to check out Survive Pandemic Flu, in which I devote over 90 pages to this question:
My advice? Do not be like your neighbours, who are almost certainly not giving the swine flu pandemic adequate consideration. I recommend that you get yourself prepared for the next pandemic wave. You still have time if you act now.
Remember Stephen's book on how to survive pandemic flu is no ordinary, take this magic potion and you'll be OK. It's far more than that....

Develop Lasting health By Firing Up Your Metabolism
Today I have another great article from Rob Poulos on speeding up your metabolism. You remember Rob, he's the guy with the furnace. No seriously Rob's techniques will have you literally burning fat like a furnace...
In a Hurry then check it out here:-
http://tc4women.com/Burn-Fat-Like-A-Furnace.html or simply read on...
Ask ten people what type of exercise they should be doing to burn fat and fire up their metabolism and they'll all probably tell you the same thing. They'll tell you that you need to do 30-40 minutesof moderately-paced aerobic exercise on a treadmill, elliptical machine, stair climber, etc. for 3-5 times per week.
They'll probably also tell you that more is better...4 times per week would be better than 3, and 5 times per week would be even better.
People will tell you this because that's been and continues to be the mainstream recommendation for fat burning by many fitness professionals. Get in a certain target heart rate and stay at thatheart rate for 30 minutes or so, several times per week. I am here to tell you there is a better way.
Sure, you'll burn some calories while you're running to nowhere on a treadmill, but you won't make a complete physique transformation with this type of exercise alone.
In fact, this type of exercise can actually be counterproductive to burning fat. Here are just a couple of reasons:
Long duration, lower intensity aerobics calls upon your stored body fat for energy during the sessions. While this may sound good, this can actually cause your body to create more body fat in reserve after the workout is over to have ready for your next workout. Yikes!
What's worse, this type of exercise when done frequently as typically suggested, trains your cardiovascular system to be efficient. Again, while this sounds good, your heart and lungs can actually reduce their capacity for work as they are getting more efficient at doing easy work (your long duration, low intensity aerobic workouts), which reduces their ability to handle stress.
This can lead to a host of other problems including higher change of heart attack. You are only working within your current aerobic capacity because you're never challenging it to go beyond what it's capable of. And anything that is easy will not yield results even close to what's challenging for the body to accomplish.
Instead, you should be challenging the body to increase its capacity, so that it is stronger and able to deal with stress more easily. How is this done?
The fastest and most efficient way to rev up your metabolism, burn fat faster, and develop lifelong health and fitness is to add lean muscle to your body through resistance training - period. You want life changing results in the quickest possible time? Get stronger and build some muscle. When you add lean muscle to your body you'll be literally turning your body into a fat burning machine! Let's say that you were eating the amount of calories that allow you to maintain your current bodyweight, but began to add lean muscle to your body through proper resistance training...you'll need to use some of those calories you're eating to feed the new muscle, creating a calorie deficit in your body.
In addition, when you stimulate your body with proper resistance training like I teach my students, the repair and growth process will call upon your stored body fat for energy. This calorie deficit combined with the repair and growth process will allow you to burn fat all day long, every day.You'll even get these fat burning effects when you're sitting around doing nothing at all.
Also, properly conducted resistance training actually increases your heart and lung's capacity for work. By placing intense demands on your body, it is forced into being ready for anything you throw at it. This makes you more resistant to cardiovascular health problems that plague most people...even those that exercise with aerobics frequently.
And the beauty is I've discovered that you don't have to spend much time working out to get the fat loss effects, and strength and muscle gains that will create this environment...you can actually get it done with 2 or 3 weekly workouts that last between 20 and 30 minutes, and even less time at an advanced level.
And it's easy to make this type of exercise part of your life because of its efficiency...and it will help keep you lean and healthy for the rest of it...muscle is the stuff that fat burning furnaces are made of! That I can promise you.

Susan Boyle's "I Dreamed A Dream" Has Certainly Come True
Hi Everyone,
Get this it's official, Susan Boyle's debut album "I Dreamed A Dream" who's dream of becoming a singer has certainly come true, as her debut album becomes the all time biggest pre-release seller on amazon ever. WHAT! you've never heard of Susan Boyle, have you been living in a cave or time bubble, please read on....
January 21st 2009 is not a date that Susan Boyle is ever likely to forget. 'I will never forget it,' she clarifies, in her unmistakeably Celtic brogue. It was the day that the shy, devout 48 year old stepped onto the stage of the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow for an audition on Britain's Got Talent. Or to put it another way, the day her world turned 360 degrees on its head. In front of the three-strong panel of judges charged with divining which of this year's British hopefuls really did have talent, the singing voice of Susan Boyle turned out to be a watershed moment neither she nor anyone involved in the show could possibly have foreseen. It is now both her and the show's defining moment.
In her own haphazard fashion, during three and a half minutes of television airtime, later aired to slack-jawed intakes of breath in May of this year, Susan Boyle fashioned a new kind of fame. She elicited a moment of pure, molten zeitgeist. She broke every rule of the talent show book and tore up a considerable number of the pages of popular music marketing into the bargain. She symbolized an astonishing variety of the little-people's revenge, quite by accident. Ms Boyle describes her own astonishing 2009 in refreshingly frank and simple terms. 'All I did was to apply for a talent show. I was lucky enough to be chosen. That's it in a nutshell.' But something deeper was going on in the collective public consciousness. If the two watchwords of the 21st century have been 'reality' and 'celebrity', Susan Boyle had accidentally located a brand new point on the graph where they both intersected. One of Britain's forgotten characters had rarely, if ever, been so memorable.
After her one audition for Britain's Got Talent, in which she confounded the judges, the audience and then anyone with access to Youtube's expectations by dazzling her way through a version of the song I Dreamed A Dream, from the musical Les Miserables, a tornado of opinionated column inches, speculation, rumination and conjecture around Susan Boyle grew feverishly. 300 Million You Tube hits and counting. She became the subject of op-ed newspaper columns, a front cover sensation in her own right. This unlikely candidate for the melting pot of the new star machine in 21st century Britain caused computer crashes, miles of newsprint and the sophisticated approval of Hollywood's well-heeled and super-groomed A-list. Though the content differed wildly, everyone proffering their thoughts on the self-confessed 'wee wifey' seemed agreed on one point. That in 2009, to be free of an opinion on Susan Boyle was to be free of opinion itself.
For one brief moment, vanity itself collapsed. As that ancient old maxim – 'Never judge a book by its cover' – clanked around the globe with speedy viral intensity, it was as if the world was about to offer its first unspoken apology for prizing beauty above all else. Perhaps it would temporarily forget its grotesquely accentuated new heights of judgement. Or perhaps Susan Boyle was just a fleeting icon by which a microscope was shone on our more fickle presumptions. Whatever history gifts the Susan Boyle story in the long term, it is now her time to prove that there is more to this incredible woman than being the symbol for a moment of international reflection. She will do it in the exact same way she entered our consciousness in the first place. With the raw combination of strength and fragility, beauty and solitude that is her singing voice.
In some ways, Ms Boyle's story is just the same as any woman with a voice in any choir up and down the UK. In her home town of Blackburn, she had been schooled in singing in churches and choral societies. She says now that, as a shy young woman with some learning difficulties, being hidden in the blanket of a collective singing arrangement offered her comfort. So in one other, crucial way, her story is entirely her own. The most unlikely chorister in the sea of voices stepped out of line and put her head above the parapet to be noticed. For Susan Boyle, though she would never deign to say so much herself, this was an act of personal heroism, the like of which she had never contemplated before.
The speed with which reaction to her performance picked up gravitas proved an incendiary media hotbed. But it was most surprising for the woman at the centre of it. 'It started off with the [Scottish newspaper] Daily Record visiting my door. And it ended up with TV stations from all over the world camping out on my street waiting for interviews and stories. I'd peak behind the curtains in the house, saying 'what in God's name is going on here?' Then the phone calls started. My number was still in the book at that particular time, so anybody could get it and the phone was ringing 24 hours a day. It was constant. People were ringing me who I couldn't understand because of their accents. All sorts of nationalities. Lots of Americans. It was absolutely unbelievable if I'm being honest.' She is self-deprecating about why she should have caused such a furore. 'A woman who went on with mad hair, bushy eyebrows and the frock I was wearing had to be noticed. Come on!'
Such is the quick nature of today's star system, in September, just four months after her TV debut, Susan Boyle made her live TV comeback. She performed a rarefied take on The Rolling Stones Wild Horses, re-orchestrated to gently clasp the exact timbre of her natural talent, on the show's US cousin, America's Got Talent. An unprompted standing ovation followed. Outside of the unruly cyclone of her fame, there is something within the voice of Susan Boyle that is absolutely perfect for our times. At a moment when Dame Vera Lynn and Barbra Streisand are topping the album charts, there is something peculiarly modern about her improbably status as holding the international record for most pre-ordered album of all time. As the dust settles on the sheer wattage of conversation that she has prompted, it is time – as they say – to face the music.
Ms Boyle's debut album was put together during the summer of this year. She first entered a recording studio in July in Edinburgh, to test how her vocals would respond to tape. The results shocked both her and veteran producer Steve Mac. Decamping to London, she fashioned the record over two months, picking songs that resonated with her, that pricked something within that she felt ready to unleash through music. 'It was important that I could feel everything I was singing,' she says, cutting straight to the core of why music can be such a useful release, an escape valve from the everyday.
A disarming mix of the sacred ('My faith is my backbone,' she says) and the secular, there is not a moment on it that is not moving. It is pitched exactly within the framework of the year she has enjoyed and, at well-documented times, endured. It is a collection of covers and original material that cuts a swathe into the interior life of the woman who is arguably the most intriguing, not to mention instantly recognisable character yet to be produced by the reality talent medium, the decade's defining TV genre.
When she hurts, it hurts. Her rousing rendition of Madonna's You'll See is a riposte to the children that picked on her in the playground. The new composition Who I Was Born To Be is an astonishing testament to self-belief against some startling odds. Yet when she dreams, we dream too. Because of her uncanny knack of picking a song so perfect for her tale at that very first audition, Ms Boyle has become synonymous with the word 'dream'. Her flawless album rendition of I Dreamed A Dream may come as no surprise, but it still manages to pick every individual hair from the back of your neck and yank them to attention. A country ballad version of Daydream Believer delicately seals the deal of her being synonymous with the concept of dreaming.
For this is Susan Boyle's tale. The fearlessness to dream about something other than the lot life has handed you. The chance to escape. The pivotal role of music as a conduit to go to another place, sometimes lodged at the outer recesses of your imagination, and to allow that new place to blossom. Yes, this is Susan Boyle's tale. It is why it connected with so many unsuspecting people across the world. In another nutshell? If she can dare to dream, so can you.

Here Is Why I Changed My Mind About Swine Flu
Monday, November 16, 2009
Eliminate Anxiety and Panic Attacks For Good
* Palpitations
* a pounding heart, or an accelerated heart rate
* Sweating
* Trembling or shaking
* Shortness of breath
* A choking sensation
* Chest pain or discomfort
* Nausea or stomach cramps
* Derealization (a feeling of unreality)
* Fear of losing control or going crazy
* Fear of dying Numbness or a tingling sensation
* Chills or hot flashes
Just try to imagine what it feels like to experience one, if you can.
Here is a typical example:
Standing in a supermarket queue, it's been a long wait but only one customer to go before you make it to the cashier. Wait, what was that sensation? An unpleasant feeling forms in your throat, your chest feels tighter, now a sudden shortness of breath, and what do you know—your heart skips a beat. "Please, God, not here."
A quick scan of the territory—is it threatening? Four unfriendly faces queue behind, one person in front. Pins and needles seem to prick you through your left arm, you feel slightly dizzy, and then the explosion of fear as you dread the worst. You are about to have a panic attack.
There is no doubt in your mind now that this is going to be a big one. Okay, focus: Remember what you have been taught, and it is time now to apply the coping techniques. Begin the deep breathing exercise your doctor recommended. In through the nose, out through the mouth.
Think relaxing thoughts, and again, while breathing in, think "Relax," and then breathe out. But it doesn't seem to be having any positive effect; in fact, just concentrating on breathing is making you feel self-conscious and more uptight.
Okay, coping technique 2:
Gradual muscle relaxation. Tense both shoulders, hold for 10 seconds, then release. Try it again. No; still no difference. The anxiety is getting worse and the very fact that you are out of coping techniques worsens your panic. If only you were surrounded by your family, or a close friend were beside you so you could feel more confident in dealing with this situation.
Now, the adrenaline is really pumping through your system, your body is tingling with uncomfortable sensations, and now the dreaded feeling of losing complete control engulfs your emotions. No one around you has any idea of the sheer terror you are experiencing. For them, it's just a regular day and another frustratingly slow queue in the supermarket.
You are out of options. Time for Plan C.
The most basic coping skill of all is "fleeing." Excuse yourself from the queue; you are slightly embarrassed as it is now that it is your turn to pay. The cashier is looking bewildered as you leave your shopping behind and stroll towards the door. There is no time for excuses—you need to be alone. You leave the supermarket and get into your car to ride it out alone. Could this be the big one? The one you fear will push you over the edge mentally and physically. Ten minutes later the panic subsides.
It's 10:30 a.m. How are you going to make it through the rest of the day?
If you suffer from panic or anxiety attacks, the above scenario probably sounds very familiar. It may have even induced feelings of anxiety and panic just reading it. The particular situations that trigger your panic and anxiety may differ; maybe the bodily sensations are a little different. Or maybe it happened to you for the first time on a plane, in the dentist chair, or even at home, while doing nothing in particular.
If you have ever had what has become known as a "panic attack," take comfort in the fact that you are by no means alone.
A panic attack always comes with the acute sense of impending doom. You feel you are either about to lose your mind or one of your vital bodily functions is about to cease functioning and you will end your days right there among the canned goods and frozen food.
You are by no means alone; you're not even one in a million. In America, it is estimated that almost 5% of the population suffer from some form of anxiety disorder. For some, it may be the infrequent panic attacks that only crop up in particular situations-like when having to speak in front of others, while, for other people, it can be so frequent and recurring that it inhibits them from leaving their home. Frequent panic attacks often develop into what medical physicians refer to as an "anxiety disorder."
One of the first steps to regaining control of your life is getting helpful information. This site will give you that, and more.
The beginning of your recovery starts here. What you will learn is that there is a very good chance you are about to end the cycle of panic attacks in your life. You will learn not only to regain the carefree life you remember once having, but will also gain new confidence in living. Your answer to living free from "panic" or "anxiety attacks" is at hand.
This site demonstrates that the panic and anxiety that you have experienced will be the very key to your courage and success.
Begin the road to recovery by browsing through the site. While many of you may have read almost everything you can possibly read relating to panic and anxiety I assure you this site offers something very effective.
Did you know...?
The key difference between someone who is cured of panic attacks and those who are not is really very simple. The people who are cured no longer fear panic attacks. I'll try to show you how to be one of these people as well.
What if I told you the trick to ending panic and anxiety attacks is to want to have one. That sounds strange, even contradictory, but let me explain.
The trick to panic attacks is wanting to have one-the wanting pushes it away. Can you have a panic attack in this very second? No!
You know the saying that "what you resist, persists." Well that saying applies perfectly to fear. If you resist a situation out of fear, the fear around that issue will persist. How do you stop resisting–you move directly into it, into the path of the anxiety, and by doing so it cannot persist.
In essence what this means is that if you daily voluntarily seek to have a panic attack, you cannot have one. Try in this very moment to have a panic attack and I will guarantee you cannot. You may not realize it but you have always decided to panic. You make the choice by saying this is beyond my control.
Another way to appreciate this is to imagine having a panic attack as like standing on a cliff's edge. The anxiety seemingly pushes you closer to falling over the edge.
To be rid of the fear you must metaphorically jump. You must jump off the cliff edge and into the anxiety and fear and all the things that you fear most.
How do you jump? You jump by wanting to have a panic attack. You go about your day asking for anxiety and panic attacks to appear.
Your real safety is the fact that a panic attack will never harm you. That is medical fact. You are safe, the sensations are wild but no harm will come to you. Your heart is racing but no harm will come to you. The jump becomes nothing more than a two foot drop! Perfectly safe.

Reversing Type 2 Diabetes, Is It Even Possible?
Today we have a great article by our guest writer Mike Adams about reversing type 2 diabetes. Is this really possible? I don't really know, all I do know however is that a few years ago I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Ever since I've literally gained over 4 stone, (56 pounds), from 13 to 17. Now that's some weight increase. Plus the meds I was given Metformin and Glicazide were both known to add several pounds onto patients. I'm now looking for alternatives, and I'll let you all know exactly how I've got on, what I've found that works for me. My medications are making me feel ill all of the time, and I too am suffering from depression, I get hypoclycemic attacks quite often when I'm out, coupled with the hot sweats and nausia. Yet my doctor won't even acknowledge that it's all down to the diabetes medicine I'm being prescribed. Wierd, but when I ran out of tablets for a few days, I felt 100% better in myself. Was it really my meds making me constantly ill? At least here in the UK we are free to seek out alternative natural health care medications, without Big Pharma and the government interfearing. I'm trying Aloa Vera juice and Golden Linseed (Flaxseed) for now and Glucosamine for my arthritic joints.
Reversing Type 2 Diabetes, Is It Even Possible?
by Mike Adams the Health Ranger
There really is a way to reverse type 2 diabetes. I'm not talking about just masking symptoms or controlling blood sugar, I'm talking about an outright cure.
Let me share a personal story with you. Today I'm called the Health Ranger, but I used to be borderline diabetic. I was overweight, depressed and hypoglycemic. But by using the same nutritional and lifestyle strategies I'm describing right here, I was able to lose 50 pounds of body fat, end my depression and stabilize my blood sugar. Now I've been declared in a state of "perfect health" by my naturopathic physician. Want to see the results for yourself? My pictures and lab-certified blood chemistry statistics are publicly posted at:
http://www.healthranger.org/
Although beating diabetes can seem hard, it's actually quite straightforward (and far simpler than your doctor even realizes, probably). In fact, a new study led by Christian Roberts of the University of California, Los Angeles showed that Type 2 diabetes can be REVERSED IN THREE WEEKS solely through lifestyle changes. An astonishing 50% of study participants were declared completely free of diabetes after completing the 3-week program!
That study shocked most doctors, but it didn't surprise me at all. Long before that study had even begun, I had already written what has now become our most popular health guide ever: "How to Halt Diabetes in 25 Days," available now at:
http://www.truthpublishing.com/HaltDiabetes.html
This downloadable guide reveals, in plain language, how to halt and even REVERSE type 2 diabetes using simple-to-follow strategies that you'll never learn from practitioners of conventional medicine.
Here's some of what's covered in, "How to Halt Diabetes in 25 Days"
* What foods cause diabetes?
In "How to Halt Diabetes in 25 Days" I explain why most commercially prepared foods contain diabetes-causing ingredients, which ones are the worst, and how to avoid them. TIP: Did you know that white flour contains a diabetes-promoting contaminant called alloxan?
* Can I treat diabetes without drugs?
Absolutely! In this guide, I've included the studies that prove nutrition and exercise can CURE diabetes. I also show you how to incorporate powerful, disease-fighting foods into every meal. TIP: Few people know which foods actually stabilize your blood sugar swings. I reveal them all.
* If nutrition makes such a difference, why aren't diabetes organizations doing more to promote it?
"How to Halt Diabetes in 25 Days" reveals how these so-called "disease groups" are more interested in managing diabetes (i.e. keeping patients sick) than actually curing it. I also expose the financial conflicts of interest and show that diabetes groups accept millions of dollars each year from pharmaceutical companies that sell insulin. One group took millions from the world's third-largest manufacturer of candy!
* I've heard that diabetes can be linked to other diseases is this true?
The same harmful ingredients that cause diabetes contribute to other diseases such as cancer, heart disease, depression, and arthritis. They also increase your risk for gallstones, appendicitis, periodontal diseases, and accelerated aging among others. In this guide, I reveal how my "halt diabetes" plan also helps prevent these other major degenerative diseases.
These are only a few of the topics covered in "How to Halt Diabetes in 25 Days." The guide also reveals:
* How simple food changes have eliminated insulin injections for 70% of diabetics.
* The shocking truth of why half of all limb amputations in America are caused by diabetes.
* The 78 destructive metabolic consequences of eating sugar.
* Why diabetes is really a metabolic disorder, not a disease, and how it can be halted in 25 days or less.
* How to get off insulin for the rest of your life.
* The one trace mineral that's almost always missing from the diets of diabetics, and where you can find it.
... and much more.
If you're currently suffering from type 2 diabetes or other blood sugar disorders (like hypoglycemia or hyperinsulinemia) this guide could be the single most important health resource you'll ever discover. These diabetes secrets saved me, I believe, from life as a diabetic. They may hold great potential for helping you as well.
Imagine a life without insulin shots and without bleeding your fingertips every day just to monitor your blood glucose level. Imagine having healthy vision (diabetes often causes vision loss) and legs that stay attached (amputations are far too common!). Imagine not having to spend a fortune on insulin, diabetes drugs, and diabetic supplies. I believe you can make that vision a reality by empowering yourself with these secrets to curing type 2 diabetes.

The 3 Top Fat Burning Foods, Surprising Results May Shock
todays guest article writer is Dan Robey who has writen many books on the subject of health, todays article may shock you, but he really knows what he's talking about.
Hi Dan Robey Here,
In all of my years as a professional Nutrition Specialist, I've noticed that most people are shocked to hear some of my picks for the top fat burning foods that are best for weight loss and good health.
I won't bore you with all of the typical "healthy foods" that you hear about all of the time such as fruits and veggies... everybody knows those. Instead, I'm going to show you some shockers that most people don't realize are super healthy foods for fat loss.
1. Egg Yolks - yes, that's right... full fatty egg yolks with all of their fat and cholesterol. By the way, you've been mislead about the cholesterol in egg yolks -- it actually raises your GOOD cholesterol and helps balance proper ratios, so don't be afraid of the fat and cholesterol in these little nutrition power packed gems. And if you choose cage-free eggs from free roaming hens, the omega-3 content is higher with a more balanced fat profile.
Egg yolks are also one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet in terms of vitamins, minerals, and trace nutrients. Trying to list all of the vital nutrients in egg yolks would take up an entire page so I won't even try that here. Just realize that egg yolks should NOT be avoided in favor of egg whites. Even the protein is more bioavailable when you include the yolks!
So don't be afraid to eat those delicious and healthy eggs and start burning belly fat faster.
2. Avocados - This is yet another "fatty food" that is also one of the best fat burning foods! Not only that, but avocados make just about everything creamier and more delicious. They are also power-packed with healthy fats, fiber, and antioxidants, as well as vitamins and minerals. The healthy fat in avocados also helps control appetite and fat burning hormones in your body.
Try adding avocado slices or guacamole to everything from morning eggs, salads, sandwiches, and burgers, and starting burning body fat faster! I would definitely consider avocados one of the best healthy super foods.
3. Grass-fed beef - While most beef you see at the grocery store is grain fed beef from cattle that are in poor health and has lower nutrition values and omega-6 to omega-3 fat ratios that are far out of whack, there is a better option... and that is Grass-Fed Beef!
Grass-fed beef is known to have much higher levels of healthy omega-3 fatty acids and lower omega-6 fats (which most people get too much of anyway). Grass-fed beef also contains higher levels of many vitamins and minerals, as well as containing high levels of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which is a healthy fat that is known to help muscle building and fat burning.
So don't be afraid to live it up a little and eat more beef, as long as you choose healthy grass-fed beef instead of grain fed beef. Enjoy and start burning more body fat with these so called "fatty" foods!

Burn Off Your Fat Like A Furnace
You've heard it a million times from people trying to burn fat, "I just don't have time to get to the gym." Well that really shouldn't be a problem once you understand how you can get a proper fat burning workout done with basic or minimal equipment or even no equipment at all.
In order to get a great high intensity fat burning workout, like students of mine get....one that stimulates the growth of lean muscle tissue, accelerates your metabolism and fat burning, and provides cardiovascular conditioning...you need to perform a variety of exercises that work all of your major muscle groups in the same workout.
You have a few choices in what equipment to use. But I am here to tell you that you don't need fancy equipment or a membership at the hot fitness center in your area. All that is really required for your fat burning workout is good old-fashioned barbells and/or dumbbells...or less. In fact, you can work your entire body from head to toe with a good set of adjustable dumbbells and a simple bench.
Keep this in your home and it takes very little space and is always accessible for those fat burning workouts you'd have to skip otherwise. After all, the proper workout I'm talking about
averages about 15-20 minutes...but if you factor in the transit time to and from the gym, it can become more difficult to stick to your routine.
I highly recommend getting a basic setup at home for those times, or you can even use this exclusively. I personally always workout at home and it has its advantages. You don't have to wait for the next station or machine on your routine at home. This is very important in relation to pulling the maximum cardiovascular benefits out of the same muscle building and fat burning
workout...keeping your time between exercises down to 60 seconds or less.
Home workouts are also great for those that might be a bit intimidated by working out with weights in public at the gym. If you feel this way, don't fret, you're not alone. This is especially true for some of the ladies, as weight training is traditionally thought of as the guy's territory in the fitness center. Nothing could be further from the truth, but if you'd rather perform you fat burning workout at home, then do it!
Another excuse for skipping workouts that I hear a lot is related to travel. For busy people, this is a reality. You go on business trips. You go on vacation. You go to visit out of town friends
and family. Now, when working out properly, like I teach my students, you're only exercising for 2-3 days per week, but if you're workout day falls on a day when you're out of town, what to do?
Yeah, you could try and find a local gym to go to, but that can be a hassle. There are actually several fat burning bodyweight exercises you can do without the use of any equipment.
Movements like the push up, chin-ups, sit-ups, etc. can provide enough muscle stimulation to keep you conditioned until you get back home. You're using your bodyweight as the resistance, rather than dumbbells, barbells, or machines. You can do stand up slant pushups against the wall of your hotel room, just find and empty wall and step back a few inches from the wall so you can use the wall for support as you do standing incline push ups...so simple yet so effective.
So don't let those standard excuses work their way into your vocabulary...you can get a great fat burning workout wherever you are, anytime!

Are You at Risk for High Blood Pressure?
Hi Everyone,
Today's article is by our guest writer Frank Mangano
Knowing the risk factors for high blood pressure, or hypertension, is the first step toward making sure your blood pressure is at a healthy level. There are several risk factors for hypertension. Some are within your control and others are simply a matter of genetics.
It does not matter what is causing or may cause you to have high blood pressure. The important point is that if you know you are at risk you can take steps to reduce the risk and keep your blood pressure at a healthy level.
We have no control over our genes, our race or our age. These are three risk factors for some people in developing high blood pressure. African Americans are more likely to develop high blood pressure than whites. They also seem to develop it at a younger age and have higher levels.
Age is a factor in blood pressure as well. The older you get, the more likely you are to have higher blood pressure. Women usually don't have trouble with hypertension until after menopause, unless they have a parent or other close relative with it. Men will develop hypertension as they age, with the greatest increases beginning between the ages of 35 and 55.
While race, age and genes are not something you can control there are several risk factors for hypertension which you can control. The most important is weight. Obesity leads to higher blood pressure especially in people with a body mass index over 30.0. Contributing to obesity and high blood pressure is also a lack of exercise. If you are inactive, you are more likely to be overweight and therefore develop hypertension.
Our eating and drinking habits greatly impact blood pressure. Consuming too much alcohol or salt on a regular basis also increases blood pressure. Not only overeating, but what you eat will affect blood pressure in a good or bad way.
How much stress you have and how you deal with it can influence blood pressure negatively. It is difficult to know how much stress a person is under, since many people hold it in and may not even feel overly stressed when in reality they are. When there is too much stress, other good habits are often sacrificed to deal with the current situation. For example, during a stressful period you may not get enough sleep or exercise or may substitute good home cooked meals for high sodium fast foods.
Any one of these risk factors alone can put blood pressure levels within a dangerous range. When you couple the risk factors with one another, your problem grows exponentially. This means that if you are overweight, inactive and have a family history of hypertension, you are at a much higher risk than someone with only heredity working against them. It would be wise for anyone with the non-controllable risk factors of race, heredity, or age to keep stay physically active, maintain a healthy weight and reduce the amount of alcohol and sodium they consume. It is also important to eat a proper diet that will support a healthy blood pressure. Specific nutrients help reduce blood pressure even in those who are genetically predisposed to hypertension.

Success Through Goal Setting
Hi Everyone,
Today's article has been guest-written by none other than Brian Tracy, best-selling author of The Psychology of Achievement.
Brian has consulted for more than 1,000 companies and helped more than four million people achieve their goals through the many seminars and talks he gives annually.
... And today he's going to help you!
Make sure you read to the end of this article because Brian offers you a great free gift at the end -- you won't want to miss it!
So without further ado, here's Brian...
People often ask me what the most important quality for success is. Throughout my career I have worked with hundreds of supremely successful people and they all had one easily identifiable trait in common: They all knew how to set goals for themselves and work hard to achieve those goals.
The ability to set goals and make plans for their accomplishment is the "master skill" of success. It is the single most important skill you can learn and perfect. Goal setting will do more to help you achieve the things you want in life than will anything else you've been exposed to.
And yet according to the best research, under 3 percent of Americans have written goals, and under 1 percent review and rewrite their goals daily. Most people don't understand the importance of setting goals, or they don't know how to do it. Or maybe they're simply afraid of failure.
Today I would like to share with you five key concepts that will help you to reach your goals more effectively. Each of these keys starts with one of the letters in the word "GOALS." Whenever you find yourself getting off the track, simply repeat the word "goals," and think about how each letter stands for a key that just might apply to your current situation.
G = Get to It!
Sometimes, the only difference between a successful person and a failure is that the successful person has the courage to get started, to do something, to begin moving toward the accomplishment of a specific goal.
You may have a long-range goal. In order to achieve it, you need to sit down and make a list of all the steps that you will have to take to get from where you are to where you want to be. Then begin with the first and most obvious thing that you can do on that list. Complete it, and then start on number two.
Don't worry about the long term. Just concentrate on the obvious first step that you can take. Surprisingly enough, everything else will take care of itself.
The Confucian saying, "A journey of a thousand leagues begins with a single step," is so popular in so many languages because it is so true.
O = Opportunity
Successful people do not wait for opportunities to turn their goals into reality. Instead, they make their own opportunities, because they are perfectly clear about the kind of life they wish to create.
Once you have taken the time to decide exactly what you want, you will experience an endless flow of opportunities that will help move you in that direction.
A = Ability
Many people hesitate to set high, challenging goals because they lack the ability necessary to turn those goals into reality. But remember that we all lacked knowledge and experience when we started out in our careers or fields of expertise.
Since you gain the ability necessary for high achievement through knowledge and experience, if you increase the speed at which you acquire both of those, you increase the speed at which you move ahead.
L = Leadership
Leadership is simply the ability to get results. And you begin to get results when you accept full responsibility for yourself, for your job and for the outputs required in your position.
You demonstrate leadership when you refuse to make excuses or blame anyone or anything for the problems you are having. The acceptance of the responsibility of leadership enables you to move ahead and take action.
When you are not satisfied with your job or income, and you sit down and make a written plan to change it, and then take action on that plan, without waiting for anyone's approval or permission, you are behaving like a leader.
S = Stay With It!
Between you and every goal that you wish to achieve, there is a series of obstacles. The bigger the goal, the bigger the obstacles. Your decision to be, have, and do something out of the ordinary entails facing difficulties and challenges that are out of the ordinary as well. Sometimes your greatest asset is simply your ability to stay with it longer than anyone else.
When you look around you, you will see that all achievement is the triumph of persistence. You will see men and women everywhere who are struggling with and overcoming adversities in order to accomplish something that is important to them.
... And so can you.
Goals enable you to do the work you want to do, to live where you want to live, to be with the people you enjoy, and to become the kind of person you want to become. If you set your goals and create a plan that will help you achieve those goals, nothing can stop you from finally winning through.
To learn more about how you can radically improve your life through goal-setting, please accept my free report, Goals!, as a special gift to you.

US army Fort Hood shooter & Orlando Shooter Linked To Psychiatric Drugs?
{NaturalNews) US Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan shot and killed 13 people and wounded 30 others in a violent attack at a Texas Army base this past week. He reportedly opened fire at the Fort Hood army base without any particular reason or motivation. In fact, as a psychiatrist, he had counselled many other soldiers on how to cope with the consequences of extreme violence (losing limbs, mental anguish, etc.).
As an army psychiatrist, he was also allowed to prescribe powerful psychiatric drugs to both his patients and himself. Many psychiatrists self-medicate, and Hasan was extremely anxious about the possibility of being sent overseas by the army, according to statements from family members (Reuters, below). Although official confirmation will probably never be made, it seems altogether likely that Hasan was treating himself with powerful psychotropic medications.
The mainstream media, not surprisingly, has utterly failed to raise this question. But it's being raised by independent media like Prison Planet (http://www.prisonplanet.com/was-for...), where writer Paul Joseph Watson says, "Psychiatrists have a history of 'self-medication' because of the easy access they have to psychotropic drugs. In almost every major mass shooting over the past two decades, since anti-depressant drugs became popular, the killer has been on SSRI's – serotonin reuptake inhibitors."
An informative article in The Examiner also asks the same question: Was Major Hasan on mind-altering prescription medications when he opened fire? (http://www.examiner.com/x-8358-Detr...).
Meanwhile, a study in the journal Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics reveals that 16% of psychiatrists self-medicate (http://www.cchrint.org/2009/11/05/w...).
Given all the psych drugs linked to such acts in previous shootings, such a link seems not only probably, but likely.
Orlando shooter confirmed on psych drugs
It's been a busy week for violent, drug-induced outbursts in the USA. Orlando shooter Jason Rodriguez is now confirmed to have been on psychiatric medications when he went on a shooting spree in an Orlando office building last week, killing one person and wounding five others.
In a televised interview with Fox News, the former mother-in-law of Rodriguez goes on the record saying, "He was under medication ...for control of the brain." That video segment is available here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_LJ...
Mind-altering medications made Rodriquez "paranoid," she explains. (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933...)
This paranoia and acting out of violence against others is a classic side effect of SSRI drugs typically used to "treat" depression. These powerful, mind-altering medications have been linked to nearly every major shooting that has taken place in the United States over the last twenty years, including the Columbine, Colorado school shootings.
